Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations with attention to patient comfort and accurate imaging
• Operate and manage image storage and retrieval using GE Centricity PACS
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure timely, actionable results
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records in line with facility policies
• Complete Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to demonstrate proficiency
• Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and required health screenings

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification required
• RDMS or RVT credential preferred or required as indicated by facility
• Experience with GE Centricity PACS strongly preferred
• Valid state license or ability to obtain license; license/certificate verification required
• Ability to pass Trinity specialty competency testing and Trinity skills checklist
• Must complete required health screenings including drug screen, fit test, immunizations, and color vision

Education

• Completion of an accredited diagnostic medical sonography program or equivalent training
• ARDMS (RDMS) or RVT certification preferred when applicable

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in diagnostic ultrasound techniques and protocols
• Familiarity with GE Centricity PACS workflow and image management
• Strong patient care and communication skills for diverse populations
• Accurate clinical documentation and familiarity with electronic health records
• Ability to perform under the demands of overnight and extended shift work
• Understanding of infection control and safety procedures
