Shift Type: Flexible shifts as assigned, must be willing to work given schedule including potential nights and weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to high-acuity patients including spinal neuro trauma and surgical cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for seamless handoffs from ED and admitting
Monitor and support patients with conditions like gunshots, quads, and paraplegics
Utilize EPIC system to document and track patient progress accurately
Work alongside nursing support techs and phlebotomists in a 5:1 patient ratio environment

Qualifications

Active RN license
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
Minimum 2 years experience in surgery trauma or high-acuity floor
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-acuity trauma and surgical nursing
Strong assessment skills for complex patient populations
Effective communication for handoffs and team collaboration
Comfortable in fast-paced environments with support staff
