Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 8-hour shifts (exact start and end times to be confirmed with facility); day/evening options typically available

Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized care plans
- Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
- Monitor resident condition and communicate changes to the care team and provider
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate safe, effective care
- Educate residents and families on care plans, medications and discharge planning
- Maintain regulatory compliance and accurate clinical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Pennsylvania preferred
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS/other certifications a plus
- Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork and resident-centered care orientation
Education
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough knowledge of nursing assessment, care planning, and documentation
- Medication administration and safe IV/po skills
- Infection control and wound care principles
- Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
- Comfort with electronic health records and timely charting
- Strong critical thinking and time-management abilities
