Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical-surgical nursing care during 12.5-hour shifts
Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing plans, and evaluate outcomes
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately according to protocol
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses clearly and timely
Participate in orientation and unit training to maintain best practices and safety standards

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or eligibility to obtain RN licensure in New Hampshire
Experience or background in Medical-Surgical nursing (Med/Surg) as noted in the posting
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to per-diem scheduling needs
Willingness to attend required orientation prior to independent shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of medical-surgical nursing care and common adult conditions
Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and prioritization skills
Clear communication and teamwork with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Accurate documentation and familiarity with electronic health record workflows
Ability to manage time effectively during extended clinical shifts
