Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered med/surg and pediatric nursing care
Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and document clearly
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent care
Educate patients and families with clarity, empathy, and respect
Monitor patient status and escalate concerns promptly to the care team
Support unit operations including admissions, discharges, and transitions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license in California (or eligible to obtain)
Clinical experience or strong interest in medical-surgical and pediatric care
Current BLS required; PALS and ACLS preferred or supported through the employer
Comfortable with medication administration, charting, and electronic health records
Clean background checks and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Familiarity with med/surg nursing best practices and pediatric considerations
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm in fast-paced situations
Patient education and family-centered care skills
