Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult ICU patients
Monitor and interpret complex patient data and act quickly to changes in condition
Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the ICU team to deliver coordinated care
Administer medications and advanced therapies accurately and safely
Perform and document thorough assessments, maintaining clear and timely patient records
Mentor and support colleagues, contributing to a positive and learning-focused unit culture

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license (RN); ability to obtain Hawaii licensure if not already licensed
Current BLS certification required; ACLS highly recommended
Experience in critical care or ICU settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and effective communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
Familiarity with vasoactive drips, titration, and complex medication administration
Skilled in rapid assessment and stabilization of critically ill patients
Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting care accurately
Strong infection control practices and attention to patient safety
