Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU
Monitor and assess patient conditions, intervening as necessary
Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage life-support equipment
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other team members
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Iowa (compact license accepted)
BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of ICU experience preferred
Willingness to float to other units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-stress situations
Proficiency in reading and interpreting cardiac rhythms and lab values
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Comfort with electronic health records and medical equipment
