Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week including weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Independently implement the nursing process to deliver safe, effective patient care across assigned hospital departments
Provide break relief and supplemental staffing to RNs in Emergency, Medical Surgical/Swing Bed, and Skilled Nursing departments
Autonomously respond to any department where trained and competent to ensure continuous nursing support
Maintain proof of competency and perform at expected patient care levels
Care for a diverse patient population ranging from 0 to 120 years old

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of acute care experience within the past two years
At least 6 months recent experience in an Emergency or Critical Care setting
Current unencumbered California RN License
Current AHA BLS for healthcare providers, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to provide age-appropriate care for patients from infancy to geriatrics
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
Flexibility to adapt to different department needs and patient acuity levels
