Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to patients in a mental health setting
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Monitor and document patient vital signs and behavioral changes
Support therapeutic activities and promote a safe environment
Collaborate with nursing and mental health staff to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Mental health or psychiatric experience preferred but not required
Comfortable working in a behavioral health environment

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and safety techniques
Communication and interpersonal skills
Basic medical equipment knowledge
Documentation and charting skills (e.g., MCHAR)
Core patient care competencies
Infection control procedures
