Shift Type: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $32 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including medication administration and wound care
Monitor and document vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition
Collaborate with RNs and physicians to implement individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care
Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols
Maintain accurate medical records and charting in compliance with facility standards

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience in a clinical setting
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every weekend
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration, IV therapy, and phlebotomy
Knowledge of EHR systems and medical documentation
Understanding of infection control and safety regulations
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Patient-centered approach with empathy and professionalism
