Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to patients in a correctional healthcare setting
Administer respiratory treatments and therapies as prescribed
Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly
Maintain accurate patient records using EHRS system
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient outcomes
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment safely and effectively

Qualifications

Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) license in California
Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred
Experience in a correctional healthcare setting (CDCR) is highly valued
Fully vaccinated candidates preferred (flu, COVID-19, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EHRS (Electronic Health Record Systems)
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication
Knowledge of respiratory care protocols and best practices
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
