Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients presenting to the Emergency Department and FSED ensuring timely, evidence-based care
• Deliver safe, effective nursing interventions including medication administration and advanced life support as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care
• Perform thorough documentation in Meditech to maintain accurate clinical records and continuity of care
• Provide patient and family education, emotional support, and clear discharge instructions
• Participate in unit workflows, assist with rapid response/trauma situations, and support a high-quality patient experience

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (state-appropriate) required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience (explicit requirement)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS and/or ENPC, TNCC (as listed)
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
• FSED experience preferred; CEN, CPEN, TCRN are nice-to-have credentials
• Ability to work independently, think critically, and adapt in a fast-paced emergency setting

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency nursing assessment and triage skills
• Trauma and acute care clinical skills
• Pediatric emergency care knowledge (PALS/ENPC related)
• Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities
