Location: Woodsville, NH

Start Date: 05-13-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (exact start/end times and specific days to be provided by facility); orientation included. Shift type: ED/ER (schedule details to be confirmed)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in the ED/ER
Perform rapid assessments, prioritize care, and initiate appropriate interventions
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, techs, and support staff to coordinate patient care
Monitor patient status, document findings, and communicate changes promptly
Provide patient and family education with compassion and clarity
Participate in orientation and ongoing unit-based training to maintain competency

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or eligibility to obtain licensure
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
Experience working in an Emergency Department/ED or similar acute care setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking abilities

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing assessment and triage
IV therapy, medication administration, and documentation best practices
Familiarity with common ED equipment and monitors
Ability to handle multiple high-acuity patients and prioritize effectively
Patient-centered care, de-escalation, and family communication skills
