Rad Tech
Location: Seattle, Washington
Start Date: 04-27-2026
End Date: 07-27-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day shifts (4x10) with typical start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM (example 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM). Schedule varies by week and area, includes weekends as needed, call/standby and holiday coverage.
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality general radiography exams ensuring patient safety and clear diagnostic images
- Operate fluoroscopy equipment for inpatient and outpatient procedures with attention to radiation safety
- Support OR imaging using C-arm and O-arm systems during surgical procedures
- Provide portable radiography across departments, troubleshooting equipment in the field
- Rotate through assigned areas (outpatient clinic, fluoro, ER, CCU fluoro/xray, OR) while maintaining consistent standards of care
- Document exams and patient information accurately in Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity RIS and Philips IntelliSpace PACS
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, surgeons and clinical teams to optimize imaging workflow
- Participate in orientation and ongoing cross-training to cover all department areas as needed
Qualifications
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Washington state radiologic technologist license required at time of submittal
- Minimum 1 year of radiography experience; ability to cover all areas expected
- Fluoroscopy and OR experience required, including competency with C-arm and O-arm operation
- ER experience preferred
- Willingness to rotate between areas, work weekends, holidays and participate in call rotations
Education
- ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)
- BLS certification
- Washington state radiologic technologist license
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient in general radiography, fluoroscopy, OR imaging and portable radiography
- Hands-on experience with C-arm and O-arm systems (Ziehm, GE/OEC, Siemens)
- Familiarity with Philips DR/CR systems and GE portable DR units
- Experience using Cerner PowerChart, GE Centricity RIS and Philips IntelliSpace PACS
- Strong patient positioning, radiation safety and infection control practices
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced acute care environment and adapt to rotating assignments
- Clear communication skills for coordinating with surgeons, radiologists and nursing teams
- Detail-oriented documentation and image quality assurance
