Shift Type: Night, 3x12-hour nights per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (block schedule). Includes Friday night shift that extends into Saturday morning. Night shift, block scheduling with predictable weekends.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and score diagnostic sleep studies (PSG) including staging, arousal detection and respiratory event scoring to ensure accurate patient assessment
• Administer Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLT) and baseline sleep polysomnography with careful attention to protocol and patient safety
• Manage titration studies and operate PAP therapies (CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, VPAP), including mask fitting and patient comfort adjustments
• Monitor physiological signals (EEG, ECG, RIP, End-Tidal CO2, O2 saturation) and intervene appropriately for patient safety
• Provide patient education on sleep study procedures and home therapy (Home Sleep Test, PAP equipment), ensuring clear instructions and follow-up
• Document thoroughly and accurately in Epic to maintain high-quality patient records and seamless care coordination
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care for patients with OSA, narcolepsy, PLMS and other sleep disorders
• Adhere to infection control practices and facility guidelines to maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Oregon licensure required — must have OR license in hand prior to start
• RPSGT certification preferred; other specialty certs accepted
• BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
• Minimum ~1 year of polysomnography experience (PSG scoring, staging, monitoring and titration)
• Experience with CPAP, BiPAP, ASV/VPAP and mask fitting
• Comfortable charting in Epic (charting system required)
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in block schedule/weekend coverage

• Operation and troubleshooting of PAP therapies (CPAP, BiPAP, ASV, VPAP)
• Monitoring: EEG, ECG, RIP, End-Tidal CO2, O2 saturation, PLM detection
• Mask fitting for full face, nasal mask and nasal pillow interfaces
• Infection control best practices and patient education techniques
• Charting and documentation in Epic
