Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with facility standards
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises and home care strategies

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Maine (or compact eligible)
At least 1 year of recent experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting
BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Education

Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic, neurologic, and geriatric rehabilitation
Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation systems
Skilled in therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and functional mobility training
Knowledge of Medicare and insurance reimbursement guidelines
