Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities to develop personalized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic activities to improve daily living skills and promote independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document progress and adjust interventions to achieve optimal outcomes
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs

Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina (or compact eligibility)
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
Minimum 1 year of experience as an OT (new grads welcome to apply!)
BLS certification required
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and adaptive equipment
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment
Creative problem-solving and patient-centered mindset
