Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to help patients regain mobility and function
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities under the supervision of a licensed PT
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting interventions as directed
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Collaborate with the rehab team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Maintain a safe and clean treatment environment

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire (or compact eligible)
Graduate of an accredited PTA program
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting appreciated
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercises and modalities
Ability to use electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Compassionate patient care approach
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Flexibility to adapt to different patient needs
