Shift Type: Saturday-Sunday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Hours per Week: 16

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on the Medical OT-8HR unit
Monitor patient vitals, administer medications, and collaborate with the care team
Document patient progress and communicate effectively with physicians
Ensure a safe and healing environment for every patient
Adapt quickly to a fast-paced medical unit and support your colleagues

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in a medical unit
BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
ACLS certification preferred but not required
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work weekends with a flexible, positive attitude

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of medical surgical nursing practices
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Time management and prioritization in a dynamic environment
