Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans to maximize functional independence
Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility, strength, and coordination
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention strategies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed
Contribute to a friendly, community-focused healing environment

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Montana (or compact eligibility)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist
Experience in outpatient orthopedics preferred
Ability to treat a diverse caseload with 95% outpatient and occasional LTC/skilled swing patients
Open-minded and adaptable to a collaborative 'Friends helping Friends' approach

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work effectively in a small community setting
Proficiency with EMR systems (training provided if needed)
