Radiation Therapist – UHC Staffing

Radiation Therapist

Location: Silverdale, Washington

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (warmup shift if trained)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $72 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and equipment, including linear accelerators and CT scanners
Accurately deliver prescribed radiation treatments with precise patient positioning and monitoring
Educate patients on their treatment plans and provide compassionate support throughout
Document all treatments in detail using Epic and ARIA electronic medical records
Perform imaging and obtain port films as prescribed for treatment verification
Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current Washington State Radiologic Technologist license required at time of submission
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Prior dosimetry badge - traveler responsible to obtain before assignment (spare available if needed)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Varian TrueBeam linear accelerators
Experience using ARIA and Epic EMR systems
Expertise in patient positioning and radiation therapy techniques
Strong patient education and communication skills
Detail-oriented documentation and record-keeping
