Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat a diverse caseload of orthopedic, neurologic, and vestibular patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient function and mobility
Collaborate with physicians, PTAs, and rehab aides to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress accurately using Cerner EMR system
Provide patient education on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Manage approximately 9-11 patients per day with a focus on quality outcomes

Qualifications

Active California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
Ability to provide 2 supervisor references (one within 12 months, one within 3 years)
No direct employment with CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity within the past year
Experience with Cerner EMR is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical skills in orthopedic and neurologic rehabilitation
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Proficiency with electronic medical records, specifically Cerner
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Time management skills to handle a caseload of 9-11 patients per day
