Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to diverse patients in Med/Surg and Emergency Department settings
Admit, discharge, and transfer patients while managing complex medication regimens including titration of drips
Respond to codes and traumas, and interpret EKGs
Start IVs, manage PICC/Ports, and participate in all aspects of patient care
Collaborate with a small team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Minnesota or compact state
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal staff and adapt quickly
Comfortable floating between Med/Surg and ER as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Titration of medications (insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, levophed)
IV start and PICC/Port management
Code participation (cardiorespiratory, stroke, sepsis) and trauma response
EKG interpretation and use of Mindray monitors
Proficiency with Meditech EMR
