Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients on telemetry
Administer and titrate IV drips including Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin
Provide specialized care for neuro patients including CVA, TBI, and spinal surgery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
Perform comprehensive assessments and document in Cerner EMR
Participate in bedside report and ensure safe handoffs

Qualifications

Active RN license in state of practice (or compact license)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry or Neuro experience
Level 1 trauma experience required
Must pass dysrhythmia exam (2 attempts)
Competency in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
IV drip titration experience
Experience with Cerner EMR
Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills
Ability to maintain sterile field during procedures
