Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide top-notch occupational therapy to orthopedic patients, focusing on upper extremity injuries like shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
- Work with a diverse caseload including orthopedic, CVA, MS, and head injury patients across acute inpatient, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with Rehab Aides and a dedicated team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress using ReDoc for outpatient and Meditech for acute care
Qualifications
- Active Oregon Occupational Therapy license required
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 12 patients per day experience preferred
- Must have outpatient orthopedic experience, specifically upper extremity therapy
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation, especially upper extremity conditions
- Proficiency in treating shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis, and fractures
- Familiarity with acute care, acute rehab, transitional care, and outpatient settings
- Lymphedema training is a plus
