Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide holistic care to laboring and postpartum patients, monitoring fetal heart tracings and titrating medications like magnesium and oxytocin
Support mother-baby couplets during recovery and postpartum period
Collaborate with a close-knit team in a rural hospital setting, ensuring smooth workflows and patient safety
Assist with neonatal resuscitation and stabilize newborns before transfer if needed
Float to other units as needed for patient sitting or helping hands

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Ability to pass fit testing for N95 respirators (facial hair may affect fit)
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal monitoring (OB Trace Vue) and interpretation of tracings
Skilled in titration of antepartum and postpartum medications
Experience with neonatal CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced rural environment
