Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Draw arterial blood gases (ABGs) and interpret results to guide patient care
Set up and manage BiPAP and ventilator support for patients of all ages
Administer nebulizer treatments and monitor patient response
Provide conscious sedation and standby for cardioversion procedures
Assist with intubations and support airway management
Care for neonates in a strong Level 2 nursery, including bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license (WA RT License required)
RRT or CRT credential accepted
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Must have strong NICU experience and competency with Level 2 nursery care
Ventilator skills and experience with bubble CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in ventilator management (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Proficient in drawing ABGs and performing respiratory assessments
Skilled in conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Comfortable working with neonates, pediatrics, and adults in an inpatient setting
Ability to collaborate with a lead therapist and work as part of a team
