Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as charge nurse on assigned shifts, leading the team and ensuring quality care
Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
Perform wound care and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT and social worker to support residents with chronic conditions like heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Document care thoroughly in Matrix EMR system

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of recent Long Term Care experience
Wound care and medication administration proficiency
Charge nurse experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in medication administration and wound care
Leadership and delegation abilities for charge nurse role
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly Matrix
Compassionate approach to caring for elderly residents with complex needs
