Location: Bakersfield, CA

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, every other weekend, holidays as needed, on-call rotation with 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging studies including brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Operate GE and Toshiba MRI equipment with precision and care
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
Maintain accurate patient records using Radnet and Merge Unity systems
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver high-quality images
Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
Current ARRT certification
Current BLS certification
Ability to float to nearby facility (Mercy Southwest) as needed
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS/EMR systems
Experience with GE and Toshiba MRI scanners
Knowledge of imaging protocols for brain, MRCP, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
