Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days/nights, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Titrate cardiac drips and manage complex telemetry patients
Interpret EKGs and respond to changes in cardiac rhythms
Float across telemetry, neuro, and med-surg units as needed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including post-cath lab, post-surgical, and neuro patients

Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required for neuro unit
Experience with cardiac drip titration and dysrhythmia interpretation
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or med-surg experience

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
Cardiac drip titration and management
Floating between units and campuses
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to handle high acuity patients
