Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Friday-Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; Monday, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; on-call after 9pm and weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform all ultrasound examinations including vascular, OB (all three trimesters), and procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records in EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS
Operate and maintain Toshiba and Phillips ultrasound equipment
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

Current ARDMS certification (RDMS, RDCS, or RVT) or RVS through CCI
BLS certification from AHA
Experience in general ultrasound, OB, and vascular sonography
Proficient with EPIC RIS and Fuji PACS systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in general ultrasound, OB, and vascular imaging
Familiarity with Toshiba and Phillips ultrasound equipment
Echocardiography skills a plus, but not required
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
