Location: Bryan, Texas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekends (2 full weekends per month, comp days given)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for patients in an acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes
Provide patient and family education for home exercise programs and discharge planning
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Meditech EMR
Supervise and delegate to PTAs and rehab techs as needed

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in Texas
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Experience in acute care setting preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of acute care physical therapy interventions for various diagnoses
Proficiency in Meditech EMR
Skills in evaluation and treatment of orthopedic, neurological, and medical-surgical conditions
Ability to manage a caseload efficiently and prioritize patient needs
Patient education and discharge planning expertise
