Location: Bismarck, ND

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0600-1830 and 1800-0630, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to patients ranging from neonates to geriatrics across all hospital units including NICU, ICU, surgical, and medical
Manage ventilators (PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, etc.) and high-flow oxygen devices
Make independent clinical judgments and collaborate closely with physicians
Cover all areas of the facility including Level II trauma and cardiac care
Orient with 3-12 hour shifts to ensure smooth integration into the team

Qualifications

Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
RRT or CRT credential with ND state license
Must have NICU experience
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory therapy expertise for neonatal, pediatric, and adult populations
Ventilator management including Airvo, PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, MR1, V-60
Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication with physicians and healthcare team
