Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process in a Labor and Delivery setting
Manage patient care in LDRP and nursery/postpartum units
Utilize Meditech and OBIX for documentation and fetal monitoring
Perform procedures as required in a 4-bed LDRP and 5-bed nursery
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, individualized care

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years recent LDRP experience
Active Alaska RN license
Current BLS, NRP, STABLE, and HS AED certifications
Experience with Meditech and OBIX preferred
Strong fetal monitoring and assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of labor and delivery nursing and postpartum care
Fetal monitoring interpretation
Meditech and OBIX proficiency
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Team collaboration and effective communication
