Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days/nights including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care on medical-surgical and telemetry units across multiple facilities in the Colorado Springs zone
Monitor telemetry, titrate heparin drips, and respond to changing patient conditions
Float flexibly between units ranging from general MS-Tele to specialties like cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations

Qualifications

Current RN license in Colorado or compact state
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Previous neuro experience preferred
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia recognition
Experience with heparin titration
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexibility and adaptability to changing assignments
