Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide intermediate care to patients with cardiac and vascular conditions
Monitor and titrate drips including amiodarone, nitro, nicardipine, epi, and cardizem
Collaborate with hospitalist and intensivist teams
Interpret telemetry strips and read cardiac rhythms
Float to same level and lower acuity units as needed
Support thoracic, EP, cath lab, and structural heart programs

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of experience with this patient population
Driver's license required at submittal
Willingness to adhere to facility policies including no artificial nails

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiac drip titration and management
Ability to interpret telemetry and 12-lead EKGs
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
