Location: Bryan, Texas

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; weekend rotation (2 full weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for acute care patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function and mobility
Document patient progress accurately in Meditech EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, and other therapists
Supervise PTA and rehab techs as needed
Adapt treatment approaches for a diverse caseload including ortho, neuro, cardiac, and post-surgical patients

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Texas (or compact eligible)
BLS certification from American Heart Association
Previous acute care experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Level III trauma center

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in acute care physical therapy
Proficiency with Meditech or similar EMR systems
Ability to manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day
Knowledge of treatment techniques for orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions
Team collaboration and precepting abilities
