Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced PCU/Oncology/MedSurg unit
Monitor patients with hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator support, titrating drips as needed
Administer chemotherapy and manage oncology patients from diagnosis through remission or end-of-life care
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, social workers, and dietitians
Float to same-level-of-care units and support team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

At least 1 year of recent PCU, Oncology, or MedSurg experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification and chemotherapy certification preferred but not required
First-time travelers welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records
Experience with Alaris IV pumps and hemodynamic monitoring (CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000)
Knowledge of ventilator management and titration of drips such as heparin, cardizem, insulin
Strong teamwork and communication skills
