Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in a variety of cardiovascular surgeries including standard cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready
• Collaborate with surgeons and RNs to provide seamless patient care during procedures
• Operate and manage robotic systems (da Vinci Xi) for minimally invasive surgeries
• Take call shifts to support emergency procedures overnight and on weekends
• Float to Main OR as needed to assist with vascular cases when experience allows

Qualifications

• Current WA state license as a Surgical Technologist
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• Robotics experience preferred but not required – willing to train
• National certification not required, but a plus
• Ability to commit to 6-9 call shifts per month including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and OR protocols
• Experience with cardiovascular and robotic procedures is a plus
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
