Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in Medical Surgical, Cardiac Telemetry, Stroke Neuro, Step-Down ICU and ICU units
Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved techniques and procedures
Develop and execute individualized patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary team
Document patient care according to standards
Participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance
Utilize critical thinking to ensure patient safety and positive patient experience

Qualifications

Current Illinois RN License
At least 2 years of ICU experience
Cardiac experience required
ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications
NIHSS certification
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Willingness to float to Med/Surg as needed

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Basic Life Support (BLS)
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Point Click EMR proficiency
Float pool adaptability
Telemetry and step-down care
