Location: Centennial, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends (6-9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult-geriatric patients with diverse conditions such as cardiac, neuro, oncology, ortho, and more
Float across multiple hospitals in Zone 1 (Colorado Springs area) as needed
Manage patient assignments with a 1:5-6 nurse-to-patient ratio based on acuity
Titrate heparin drips and monitor patient responses
Collaborate with charge nurses and assist with low-acuity holds when required
Adapt quickly to different units and facility protocols

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent MS-Tele experience
Prior neuro experience strongly preferred
Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius across multiple facilities
Flexibility for weekend and holiday rotations

Knowledge & Skills

Strong MS-Tele and medical-surgical skills
Knowledge of cardiac, neuro, and post-surgical care
Proficiency in heparin titration
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
