Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms, neurological status, and renal function, including continuous EEG monitoring
Titrate and manage intravenous drips such as Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units as needed to support the team
Maintain accurate documentation and pass an open-book orientation exam with a 90% or higher score

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU or stepdown experience preferred
Driver's license required for verification of residency
Must comply with fingernail policy – no artificial nails in patient care areas
