Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and care for adult patients with cardiac, medical/surgical, and critical care needs
Titrate intravenous drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Interpret telemetry strips and respond to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Provide patient and family education on medications and care plans
Float to MedSurg or ICU to support PCU acuity patients as needed

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Experience with arterial lines and telemetry interpretation
Competent in titrating cardiac drips
Driver's license needed for compliance check

Knowledge & Skills

Arterial line management
Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Drip titration for cardiac medications
Patient assessment and critical thinking
Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
