Location: Omaha, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and assess critically ill patients in a fast-paced Progressive Care Unit
Titrate cardiac and neurological drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
Manage patients with cardiac, renal, and stroke conditions
Perform continuous EEG monitoring and interpret findings
Provide education and support to patients and families

Qualifications

Current RN license in Nebraska or valid compact state license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal
Ability to pass an open-book exam with 90% during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips
Experience with continuous EEG monitoring
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of adult and geriatric patient care
