Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends every other

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a telemetry and PCU-level unit
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, titrate drips (e.g., Amio, Cardizem, Heparin), and manage patient responses
Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Read and interpret telemetry strips, and manage patients with complex cardiac conditions
Assist with procedures such as cardiac caths, EP studies, and pacer insertions
Float to PCU or medical-surgical units as needed, supporting the broader team

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
PCU experience with ability to read telemetry strips
Tele/cardiac nursing experience preferred
First-time travelers welcome!
Epic experience preferred but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Skilled in titrating intravenous drips and managing acute cardiac patients
Knowledge of PCU-level care and common diagnoses (sepsis, pneumonia, CHF)
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Comfortable with electronic medical records (Epic preferred)
