Location: Omaha, Nebraska

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12.5-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to adults and geriatrics with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes conditions
Titrate critical drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
Monitor continuous EEG and telemetry
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
Maintain a positive attitude and strong communication in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required at submittal
Ability to pass an open-book skills exam with 90% during orientation
Must reside outside 50 miles from the facility and not employed by CommonSpirit/CHI/Dignity

Knowledge & Skills

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and teamwork
Ability to titrate intravenous medications
Comfortable with cardiac monitoring and neurological assessments
