Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day Shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, variable days, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse Med Surg patient population
Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage IV lines with precision
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Document patient progress and respond quickly to changes in condition
Maintain a safe and healing environment for every patient

Qualifications

Active RN license in Maine or compact state (must be currently active)
Minimum 3 years of recent Med Surg experience
BLS, CPI, ENPC, RNFA, TNCC, AWHONN, STABLE, and ASLS certifications required
Ability to work 12-hour day shifts including every other weekend
Flu vaccination required (medical exemption only)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Electronic health record (EHR) experience preferred
Adaptable to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
