Shift Type: Night shift (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), flexible scheduling as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records
Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Maine
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or hospital setting preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and management
Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Infection control and safety protocols
Team collaboration and patient advocacy
