Registered Nurse - Hospice

Location: Zanesville, Ohio

Start Date: 07-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (inpatient) and 7:30 PM - 8:00 AM (homecare), every 3rd weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients in both hospice inpatient and homecare settings.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring patient responses.
Educate and support patients and their families on hospice services and symptom management.
Document patient care accurately in EPIC EMR system.

Qualifications

Active Ohio RN license required.
Current BLS certification required.
Hospice experience preferred but not required for dedicated candidates.
Valid driver's license and proof of auto liability insurance for homecare visits.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in EPIC EMR required.
Strong understanding of hospice care principles and symptom management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family support.
Ability to work independently in homecare settings.
