Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care
Educate patients and families on therapy techniques for continued progress
Document patient progress and adjust therapy goals as needed

Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Current Vermont state licensure or eligibility for licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with patients and team

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

In-depth knowledge of speech and language disorders and treatment modalities
Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation
Excellent patient assessment and diagnostic skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
